At Puntum, your privacy is as important as your next weekend plan.

Zero Spam. Your data is safe and we will never sell it. We'll only notify you when Puntum is ready in your city.

What data do we collect?

We collect the information you provide and what's needed to run the app:

  • Registration Data: Email for newsletter and account (email, name, age, nationality, languages, interests, bio, photo).
  • Location: When you use the app, we ask permission to access your GPS. It's only used to show you nearby events and people at that moment. We never store movement history.
  • User-Generated Content: Chat messages, events you create, and your profile. You can delete your account and data anytime from Settings.
  • Subscriptions: VIP subscription status is handled by RevenueCat and payment is processed by Apple (we don't store cards).

What do we use your data for?

We use your information exclusively to:

  • Give you updates about the app launch.
  • Confirm your subscription and assign you "Founding Member" benefits.
  • Send you relevant news about events in your city (you can cancel this at any time).
  • Operate the app: show nearby events, city/event chats, and compatible buddies.

Privacy and Third Parties

We don't sell your data. To run Puntum we use: Supabase (database & auth), RevenueCat (VIP subscription status, billing by Apple) and Mapbox (maps & geocoding). Your location is only used on-device to show nearby content.

How do we protect your data?

We use secure servers and leading platforms (like Supabase) with high encryption standards. We will never sell your information.

Your Rights (ARCO)

You have total control. At any time you can:

  • Access the data we have about you.
  • Rectify your information if it's incorrect.
  • Cancel/Delete your account and all your data from our records permanently.
  • Oppose receiving marketing emails.

Cookies

On our website we use basic cookies to understand how many people visit us and which cities are most interesting. We don't use invasive third-party tracking cookies.

No Data Selling

Puntum Promise: We will never sell your personal information to advertisers or other companies. Our business model is not based on selling your privacy.
