What is Puntum and how does it work?
Puntum is a location-based social network that helps you discover people, events, and experiences in your city. You use an interactive map to see nearby buddies, local events, and city chats in real time.
Is Puntum free?
Yes, Puntum is free to download and use. We offer a VIP plan with benefits like unlimited chats in any city, featured events on the map, and a VIP badge on your profile.
In which cities is Puntum available?
We are launching in 17 cities: Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Cali, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Lima, Santiago, Madrid, Barcelona, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and London.
How does the social map work?
The map shows real-time events in your city and nearby buddies (people). You can filter by category, see featured events, and join any event chat directly from the map.
What is BuddyFinder and how does it work?
BuddyFinder is our swipe feature (Tinder-style but for making friends). You swipe through profiles of people who share your interests, and when there is a match you can chat privately.
Is Puntum safe for meeting people?
Yes. Puntum prioritizes your safety: we do not store movement history, your GPS location is only used to show nearby content in real time, and you can block or report any user.
Can I create my own events on Puntum?
Yes, any user can create community events. User-created events appear on the map with a special marker and have their own chat so people can connect before the event.
Which platforms is Puntum available on?
Puntum will be available soon on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). In the meantime, you can join our newsletter to be the first to know.
